Mario & Friends Retail Encap

This encap design was created as part of a retail strategy initiative to provide guidance on the Nintendo retail experience. I provided two options as examples of aspirational retail designs. The first is a more graphical approach, not including any scenery, while the second option leans into the Mushroom Kingdom landscape as a backdrop and grounds the characters in that world. Both versions bring in a sense of movement and depth with die-cuts to make the characters break the frame. The image here shows a mockup of option one, and the slides below show the guidance document provided for both options.
